A bit of the middle book syndrome in this one, where most is just setting up the stage for the last book and our MC learning to control her powers. Not a bad one but nothing really new or added at this point to the story.

I enjoyed the author’s writing, the flow make its for a great read. Persephone is trying to get Hades to choose the light, but all he has ever known is the darkness, and while he wants her he is still putting up a fight. Hades & Persephone did a big mistake in this story, that ending! Hades & Persephone interactions are amazing. Wish Lucifer & the Apothecary had more of a role in these books I would like to know their stories. All of Persephone friends from her Shadow Guild make me want to read this author’s other stories so it looks like I am going to be reading a lot more by this author. I like how she made books interact with the different characters from other series of her books.

This book could be amazing

Again. I am enjoying this series well enough to keep going but it needs more detail. There isn’t enough filler between the major plot points and the journey is too quick.

I read this series so quickly that I'm rating/reviewing the series overall, not the individual books.

I feel like my review criteria is wacky and all over the map, but it's 2020 and everything goes right now.

I enjoyed this series. It could have used a more thorough editing job (after reading this whole series, I can tell you the author's favorite words and phrases which really shouldn't be the case), so probably is more like a 3.5 stars. But it hit me at the right place at the right time.

It is not for everyone, but if you like Greek Mythology and grumpy/sunshine stories packed with tension, you might enjoy this book/series.

Note: I did not read the series preceding this one. I'm not a huge fan of vampire stories and the other series didn't intrigue me like this one did.

PG-13 for romantic reasons.

Greek Gods at it again

You know when you're surprised but not really surprised by what happens.
When you're just looking at certain characters like "if you had been crystal clear about why that shouldn't be done, then maybe just maybe things could go differently" (Zeus, Poseidon I'm looking at you two"

But alas, there would be no story if it didn't happen.

I'm super curious about the story behind Lucifer. He's been cannon foder too many times now.
