Overall, I enjoyed this book and giving it 3.75 stars. However, there are some plot holes (which are practically unavoidable in time travel stories) and some plot inconsistencies that should have been avoidable. The characters are loveable, and I raced through the story wanting to know what happens in the end, but I am undecided whether to invest more time since the story if I am not able to fully suspend disbelief and immerse myself in this world.

The writing's not great, the pacing's weird, and actual historians would probably be much happier not knowing this book exists, but if you don't take it too seriously, it's a fun ride.
