Bueno, esta es una historia entretenida, la primera de la serie de “Agatha Raisin”. Es una novela cómoda, graciosa. Le he cogido mucho cariño a la protagonista, una señorona con mal genio pero muy sentimental.

Bien escrita, corta, entretenida, humor negro, paisajes rurales ingleses que nos encantan, concursos de cocina, ferias y jardines. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Agatha is a lot more human than some of Beaton's earlier protagonists.

In this first book, she's not very likable, but it's possible that may change as she finds her feet.

I thought this would be a bore when i first opened it and at first i just didnt like agatha for being so cold and mean but throughout the book i was more and more griped by the different characters and the life in the village

the book seemed to only contain a small amount of murder mystery and was more about agatha settling in the carsley and making new friends and i found myself just drawn to this world and couldnt put it down
