I could listen to Baldwin [read] all day. Sad how relevant he remains.

An incredibly thorough introduction to the non-fiction writing of one of the great Black & Gay American thinkers, James Baldwin.
Only reason it’s not a full 5 is that I would have liked to see a foreword or afterward—perhaps by a Baldwin scholar like Eddie Glaude or Greg Garrett—to help contextualize Baldwin’s historical importance & continued relevance to life in the mid-2020s.
