So good!!! Such an interesting back story, and really sets up The Phantom Menace. So excited for 5/3 for the theatrical re-release!!!! I also got Palpatine's Republic Gunship with Padme.... let's go!!!! also got the new Darth Maul / Qui-Gon set??? so excited to build The Scimatar!!

Banger of a star wars novel. Having Palpetine's thoughts and actions out of the shadows is a real treat, and the story acts as a fun tragedy of hubris in political scheming
