This book was FUNNY…there was a lot of silly dialogue and very witty conversations. 
Overall I don’t think I understood the world very well. 
I have not read any Dramione fanfic and I don’t know that these characters translated into Hermione or Draco, or if they are even supposed to.

I loved reading this book, the writing style was nothing like I had read before. Sometimes found it abit confusing to follow along with, but overall loved the banter between two main characters. It’s nothing like DMATMIOBIL, so don’t go in thinking it is!!

I'm struggling in how to rate it. This book started off strong for me, I was truly eating it up, especially with all that banter! But after the 45% mark, it lost traction for me and became repetitive. It got to the point where I was looking forward for the story to end. The slow pacing did not help this book at all, unless you like cozy fantasies, which I'm starting to realize I'm not a fan of. Give me some medium-to-high stakes, please!

Even the romance was a slow burn, which I don't mind at all! I read and loved Rose in Chains , which is also extremely slow burn, but with the fast paced of that one and the intricate and actually interesting world-building, there's no reason why I wouldn't love it. But now I'm wondering if Dramione fanfics are normally this slow?

Anyway, great first half, boring second half. The banter was the best part of the book—I was laughing out loud with all their antics!

Didn’t quite live up to the perfection of DMATMOOBIL for me but then again, what could? Kudos to Knightley for an overall successful debut in true fiction — you can bet your ass I’ll also be devouring book number 2!
