I did not like this book as much as I liked the first one in the series. I got VERY tired of the narrator's insecurities and his determination to solve the murder, when it was quite obvious to the reader that he was never going to solve the murder. The ending of the book is quite clever. I do wish that there was a little more information in the author's note about which events of the novel are true and which are not. I'll probably read the next one in the series.
