The Tea Dragon Festival was cute and a quick read with vibrant illustrations.  I loved all the different representations: deaf, sign language, non binary, queer, multi skin tone.  Just beautiful.  And the hints at non-conventional romances was sweet.  Reading the character descriptions in both the back and the front of the book does help to better understand the characters.  Overall, I enjoyed the book.

the amount of representation in this graphic novel makes me sooo <33

This was more of a prequel to the first Tea Dragon’s story but I still really enjoyed! I do love this series a lot. The art style is gorgeous. The way it deals with serious themes while also managing to stay relatively easy to read is appreciated. I will endlessly recommend this series to everyone.
