I love the quiet love stories in this series
This was so CUTE. Especially if you like foraging! There’s great queer and deaf representation and the illustrations are gorgeous. Heartwarming and sweet, pick it up if you can!

I do feel similarly about this book to the others in the series, but I think I would say that I like this one better marginally - in part due to the mesmerizingly illustrated exploration scenes. I now long to live in a magical forest and hunt for vegetables.
UPDATE:
Rereading this, I don't think I would put this as a tier above the rest of the books in the series. I love them all equally, and I see them as a unit.
I've mentioned the art before, but I feel like I can't emphasize just how lovely and lush and gorgeous it is with words alone. From the vivid colors of the forest foliage to the patches of sunlight that fall on characters between canopies of leaves, every page is to be savored and appreciated. And I really do want to live here.

I loved the art—it's so beautiful and engaging! While I found the story a bit slow at times, it was still a cute and enjoyable read.

Me encantó el arte, ¡es tan bonito y atractivo! Aunque la historia me pareció un poco lenta a veces, no dejó de ser una lectura bonita y agradable.
