this was such a fun little read i loved seeing all the extra depth and development given to cardan's character, and how much he cares for jude and her family. to be loved is to be changed.

the way we got to see what he thought of jude before they got together. AND THE WAY HE TALKS ABOUT HER TO ASLOG. (also his childhood is so sad)

A ty ilustrace! To je pastva pro oči.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I know better than to judge a book by its cover but this FairyLoot edition just took my breath away! It’s hard to tell but the foiling on this book is insanely beautiful.

The short stories were such a joy to read. It was great to find out more about Cardan’s backstory. What really elevates the story are the stunning illustrations drawn by Rovina Cai. Aside from the fact that the art style is absolutely gorgeous, what really blew me away was that Cardan was depicted exactly the way I envisioned him to be in my head
