i found it in the list google gives you when you search for "books similar to house of leaves." learning it's only 32 pages long and illustrated, i decided to read it. needless to say i was a bit underwhelmed and i blame google for this.

A weird creature in high-top converse who barges into your house unannounced and proceeds to hide your valuables in the pond...what is not to love? He is the cutest nameless thing I have ever seen!
