Slow buildup but in classic SMG style, once the magic/gothic begins, it’s go go go. Loved Montserrat and particularly the audiobook narrator’s distinct voices among the characters and her narrator’s voice.
2.5. Just couldn’t get into to this one. I love her other books, but these characters just fell flat for me.
I listened to 27% (2.4 hours of the book) and nothing happened. I have too many things on my tbr to keep listening.
