This read like something I’d write for a school project.

It's not spooky season but I was finally able to listen to all the books that came in Amazon's Creature Feature! This is the first one I decided to listen to. I absolutely loved The South Book Clubs Guide to Slaying Vampires. I always have high expectations from Grady Hendrix but this one unfortunately didn't hit. It is a novella so I understand the shortness and quickness of the book/audiobook, I just didn't feel like anything happened and it just kinda fell flat.

Oh, Grady, what have you done?

I'm a vast Grady Hendrix fan and was super excited to read this... However, it let me down.

I don't even know what to say.

2 stars. That's all I got.

A quick read that reignites a childhood fear of leaving your leg hanging off the side of the bed. As usual Hendrix does a great job describing the events as they unfold and making it easier to visualize just how horrifying The Ankle Snatcher is and even added elements 10 year old me would have never thought up.
