I love a secondary world fantasy that's so completely urban! I feel like you see that so rarely. the worldbuilding here was deeply cool and strange, but I ultimately didn't feel that I fully vibed with or understood the plot. maybe a reread is required!

Pretentious and insipid.

The prose could not keep my attention, and I found it difficult to get invested in the story. Reviews I read led me to believe that if it wasn't clicking for me this far in, that it wasn't going to get better for me.

Me and Dizz will come back to this in June or July because we're too consumed with school and life sucks!
