There's so much build up and then everything just stops. And maybe that was the goal but it was jarring.

The art! Is very well done, and there's some cool style shifts to reference different media (Tim Burton style, Hungry caterpillar, old comic cover illustration style to name a few) and it's done in a way thats not jarring. Five stars for art.

The story was clear and easy to follow, but with uneven pacing. Also Nora was a bit tooo quirky at first and Victor too possessive. Three stars for story, it was just okay

Loved the art, but the story was lacking. Victor never came across as a good love interest, and Nora was too much MPDG for my liking.

This was my first foray into the world of graphic novels, and I must say, it didn't disappoint.
While the relationship between Victor and Nora felt a bit rushed, the overall plot was well-crafted. The art was simply beautiful, and the author, Myracle, skillfully balanced the emotional aspects without veering into melodrama. This graphic novel serves as an origin story for Victor Fries, the character who would eventually become the notorious DC villain Mr. Freeze. It's a strangely hopeful story to a tale that we know will ultimately take a darker turn.

Victor and Nora is a cute love story and I enjoyed it.  I was thrown off by Victor's age because he is a scientist and Nora is 16.  It was halfway through the book before it was stated he is 17.  Why is a 17 year old working so hard on serious scientific experiments in a lab.  Also Nora came on strong to Victor in the beginning.  Too strong for her age.  And it seemed there was something she knew about him in the beginning that was going to be revealed.  Like she knew him.  I was confused.  The graphics were great, and Nora is beautiful and that hair is gorgeous in every shot.   Loved the science talk too.  I learned about decomposition and now I can't get it out of my head.

Obsessed! DC and Marvel are sometimes a struggle for me to get into, but adding a romance storyline made all the difference. I loved the dark vs light, fire vs ice storyline between Victor and Nora. I was dying to find out how it would end and for sure want to read the sequel (there has to be one). Loved it!
