I listened to this one on Audible. I'm wondering if I had done book 1 & 2 and gone back to listen to this prequel afterwards if I would have felt differently 🤔 it was ok, I'm going to continue the series and see.
Bristol refers to her brothers handsome face and beautiful hair more than once and it gives ick.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one, this is my first by this author and I'm left feeling underwhelmed

Cant rate higher because it's a novella, but GFD, what a fucking bombass story! This was so good?!!! WTF? The characters, plot, dynamic, tension were so sexy, sensual, challenging, annoying, and everything all at once? How does Kennedy Ryan pulled that off? Now I regret that I didn't pick up a book by Kennedy sooner because my audible premium is ending soon 🤣 Definitely following up with GRIP and STILL. And that ending?
And can we please appreciate Maxine Mitchell's audiobook narration, because she's so fucking amazing and talented!!! Her voice was so seductive in Hail Mary by Kandi Steiner and it matches Mary's voice the best, and here? She played so many characters and I'm able to distinguish them pretty clearly. Ugghh, I'll bingeing this series on audiobook just because of her!
This made me so excited to pick up her other books that i've already owned!
