Have to say it didn't really end how I thought it would, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. And congrats to author for the series being reissued under a publisher!

Didn't quite end the way I hoped but I was definitely contend with the ending. Very sad it had to end though.

It was an ok ending to this trilogy. I thought the second book was the best one. This just seemed to end everything in such a rush.

Fun and easy, brainless read.

I'd say this was a good ending to the trilogy, but not the phenomenal one I expected when I finished reading the first book. Hocking made some interesting choices with the characters, and I felt like everything was tied up in a too-neat bow in the final chapters. I ended up feeling like she created characters with more depth than she had the time to explore in a three-part series, so the ending left me dissatisfied. Absolutely still worth the read though.

I know alot of people are angry with the ending for the Trylle Trilogy, but honestly, I liked it and thought it was a good ending. Many people hated it because she ends up with Loki, and not Finn like they originally thought, but I think thats a good thing. I do think they loved each other, but that their love was suited better for a friendship (such as in the ending short story). I did like Loki and I actually preferred him to Finn, but that might be cause I imagine him looking like Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of Loki (even though the book described him as the exact opposite (except for personality, they're both sassy as heck)). I was sad about Elora because she truely did care for Wendy but because of her condition she didn't wanna get close to Wendy and that was really heartbreaking... However I do wish Amanda Hocking would've written in Aunt Maggie and Ryhs in more. I feel like they were totally ignored despite having been important people to Wendy. I also loved the short stories in the end and wish I could read more. I think Wendy and Loki are cute as a family with their son and I would've loved to see more of Oliver.

Finished the last two of this series almost as quickly as the Hunger Games. This series; however, seems far from complete for me. Amanda - there are more stories to be told about the Trylle. More please!

I really liked Ascend. It was a nice way to end the trilogy. While I thought the part that was supposed to be the most climatic part of the book lacked a little suspense, it was still good. This series was very entertaining!
