Not one of my favourites. The story stretched a lot and I found the narrator very unlikable and the fact that the Russian mob is so stupid enough to get caught in kidnapping seemed hilarious to me. Sarah was the typical character you would expect in these type of plot. She was paranoid and stupid. If the story was fast paced maybe it could have been salvaged. But it was unnecessarily long.

Oh my God. What an amazing book. I can't believe I put this off for so long. The writing in this book is steps above phenomenal. I could physically feel what the main character felt; her rage, her fear, and her empowerment. The author made it so easy to cheer on and empathize with the characters. The plot twists kept coming and fit so beautifully together. Honestly I can't rave enough about this book. Would read again and recommend to any of my friends into mystery.

This book had been on my kindle tbr for a while and I tried to make it a goal to read it this July. Well, it lasted about nine pages. I know it isn’t fair to judge a book by reading so little of it so I will not rate it. I just couldn’t put up while the sexual harassment plot at the beginning of the book. It made me uncomfortable and I did feel like pursuing the reading.
