A sweet story that reminds the reader of the importance of family and tradition. The setting, Frakenmuth, MI, sounds like a magical place to be at Christmas. Loved the reminders to take joy in the simple traditions and in each other.

I had a hard time getting into this book, especially because I didn't really like the heroine all that much. Part of the reason I picked this one up was because it takes place in Frankenmuth, Michigan and as a Michigander, I couldn't really pass that up. Honestly, it was the best part of the story.

Just alright. Didn’t connect with the main character at all. Loved the setting in Frankemuth, but several inconsistencies with the main character and the writing had me just reading to get it done with

This book was a little slow moving for me. It had a nice ending but it was a struggle for me to get through the book because of the pace.

By page 74 it was more than clear exactly how the book continue and how it would end and I just didn't feel like reading all of the overly-dramatic angst they would throw in between the beginning & end of the book.
