Well, well, well. If Hallmark had a spicier sister, this would be her. Definitely a predictable plot and story. A small level of spice, though it comes hard (pun intended) in the last few chapters. A cute quick holiday read. While I’m sure I already know what the next two books will be about, I plan on reading them too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 but rounded up.

I would say more a 2.5 , I can’t quite put my finger on what I did t like , it’s quite similar to a Lucy score book but way shorter so I technically should of loved it but I just didn’t vibe much with it. I think it may be the characters. But saying that I could imagine it being a nice cosy read I just read it over too long a period. I think I’m too into thrillers right now for this genre so maybe it would have been a higher rating if I read it at a different time!
