adventurous emotional hopeful mysterious

This was not a bad story. It just wasn't a story for me.
It was very slow and really hard for me to stay interested. I never did feel attached to any of the characters. The strongest feelings I had reading this were for the dog and most of that was just anxiety about what was going to happen to the dog.
I ended up putting it down and forgetting about it halfway through, then picked it back up weeks later and struggled to finally finish it.

DID NOT FINISH: 18%

Just couldn't get into it. Maybe it was just the wrong timing?

May she wander but always return home

Starts slow and then starts to sprawl too quickly with the three different POVs imho. The parents were so interesting but it made the main storyline feel meh by comparison.
