i had high hopes for this one, but unfortunately, this often felt like reading a brochure in a psychotherapist's office.

This is a gorgeous book inside and out! I have always approached tarot in the way Jessica lays out, but it’s wonderful to see her more in-depth and researched approach to reading the cards from a self awareness perspective. I will be gifting this gem to everyone in my life! Fave book of 2022 already.

A refreshing contemporary and reasonable take on the cards themselves, their symbolic contexts, and ways we can use them for personal growth.

Varies a lot from traditional interpretation, but I enjoy it as a supplement to consider new angles on a card reading.

I've been reading tarot cards for about 25 years, and I wish a book like this were around when I started my own relationship with the cards. Jessica sets herself apart from other tarot experts by incorporating both psychology and cultural archetypes into her practice. Rather than using the cards for divination, Jessica uses them for self-discovery, with each card and its imagery holding special meaning that reveals "secrets" about ourselves. It's a beautifully-written debut, and I can't wait to see more from her.

Jessica has a marvelous way of bringing Tarot and psychology to every day life; understandable to the beginner of tarot and breathing new insight to those more experienced with the cards.
