Probably my least favourite read of Quinn’s by far. I think when she strays too far away from the romance the plot stops being believable.

A romance of the pratfall, bicker-fest variety. Not to my taste, but I can see the appeal for other readers...

This one is better than the first Lyndon sister BUT it’s still not very good. I don’t know if I can read any more early Julia Quinn novels because the writing and characters just aren’t great. Whereas obviously the Bridgertons and then the prequel series had more fleshed out characters and arcs.

The final book in the Lyndon Duology. Honestly, this was sooo much better than the previous book. Ellie was such a cool character and the plot gave tension and some dramatics.

However. I do not like the fact that JQ used "man begging woman to marry him 2 seconds into meeting" for both sisters. I didnt like it in the first one but god, I hate that 'trope'
