This was a journey. I was at times annoyed, and curious and reflective all within the same paragraph. I have lots of thoughts and questions and so many opinions.

Read this after hearing the author on a podcast and started it on a whim. While it was an interesting memoir with lots of themes beyond the title, I was expecting it to be more explorative of the concept underpinning the book. Instead it was a more personal memoir - which would t have been something I’d opted for as I don’t know or have an interest in the author. Also it was a very heteronormative perspective on a non monogamous relationship, which is true to the author’s experience, but did feel limited.

It was an easy read but she wasn’t likable at all for me.
