This is by far one of the best books I've read this year!!!!! It was so beautifully written and at the end I cried in happiness. This was an quick read for me and in the future I will likely read it again.

Um. I did enjoy reading it. And then, it did that thing. Not the easiest way out, but still...

I KNEW IT!This book kinda gave me tangled vibes at some moment.I put 4 stars and not 5 five because of the end like why I wanted more and I found the plot twist at one third of the book but still really good

I read this book SO quickly then immediately purchased it and watched the movie adaptation. I cried while reading and watching, so that says a lot about the creation of both the book and the movie. Our main character has this rare disease that isolates her from the outside world, but she breaks the rules for the guy she falls in love with next door, and it's a super cute story about what people would do for love. There's also betrayal and heartbreak and a pretty decent plot twist that will make you so upset at some characters, but I loved it all.

Interesting idea but I thought it was not well paced. Ending felt sudden and rushed with a lot left to explore!
I got a huge ick when he called her innocent. Also this is kind of silly but I had a hard time with the fact that
his family is just existing with this public DV relationship playing out in the street when it’s soo apparent that if this was a poor family of color there would be police and cps involvement! Which is not right but it’s also hard to read that having seen survivors be treated like criminals.

**I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

4.5 stars.

When I first started the book, I had my doubts. Because if there's anything I've learned all these years as a part of the book community, then it's that half the time, the hype surrounding a book is usually overhyped and you'll probably end up disappointed. Well, not this time.

'Everything, Everything' is a compelling read that'll suck you in from page one. The writing style is tasteful, the characters are dimensional, and I totally loved everything, everything about this book.

I started this book at 2 am. I just wanted to get a glimpse of the first chapter and see what to expect, but I got sucked in right from the start and ended up finishing 60% of the book by 4 a.m. I had to get up early the next day. I remember thinking Yep, I'm screwed.

So, to begin with what I liked about the book, I loved the main character, Maddy. She's African American/Japanese, so you gotta give the author credit for that. Shoutout to character diversity!

I also loved the writing. It was beautiful. Some lines were so deep and metaphorical, I had to reread them multiple times. Amazing. I love it when books do that to me.

I admit, there were some moments in the book when it felt like I was reading The Fault in Our Stars, but in my opinion, I liked this book better. Also, there was a kind of insta-love element here but I think that's excused due to the MC's circumstances and how little contact she has with the Outside.

I loved the illustrations in this book and how they were formatted throughout the book, it was very creative!

Overall, Everything, Everything is a book that glues you to your seat with it's wonderful story and wonderful characters. Y'all better believe the hype about this book because it's totally worth it!
