I just didn’t care about the story or the characters… 🤷‍♀️ 

A definite let down from the author’s last book, The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, which I loved.

All of these books are insane but amazing

Started out really strong and interesting, but didn't quite hold that form throughout. Weirdly I found the murder mystery less interesting than I had thought (especially as a mystery fan!), maybe the nature of the characters made me feel more detached? 
The dystopian concepts were cool but never really fully fleshed out, an okay read all the same.
