Another quiet and sublime masterpiece by my favorite author. I love her writing so much for its poetic and honest ease. It’s a joy to get to know these characters. And to learn about a place I’ve never been but hope to see one day.

This book reminded me of a lot of people I grew up with if I’m being honest 😅

I thought it was a very interesting read and liked the environmental tie in but there was a LOT going on throughout the book and it was hard to follow at times.

I did not enjoy the audiobook.  It felt like the narrator was condescending to the characters.
