I really loved Aza's unique voice. It's clear that John has personal experience with OCD. The plot at first feels very John Green-esque until you realise the plot is not the point and it's only a means to an end. The first two thirds of the book were fine but felt kinda like any other John Green book but then the last third took up speed and really drew me in. Like this might end up being my favourite book of his after The Anthropocene Reviewed.
I'm glad this book exists so people can understand OCD a bit better.
Also there is just so many book references in this. That's such a John Green thing to do tbh

Talks about OCD and the character’s struggle with compulsions. Illustrates the realistic struggle of someone with ocd very well.

As far as I know, I don’t have OCD, but I am a hypochondriac. I felt both seen by this book and I felt my anxiety build on itself. John Green really captures the isolation and self-hatred that comes with medical-induced anxiety.

The characters were extremely lovable. Each interesting and with their own endearing personalities. The friendship between Aza and Daisy was sweet and complicated, but at the same time so simple.

As I’ve said in other reviews, if I find a book memorable I come back and give it 5 stars. So we’ll see if it sticks with me!

This book left me speechless so many times...
The characters were amazing!
The plot was awesome!
The writing style was fabulous!
Green has done it again!
He made me laugh and cry with these characters and Aza gave me a new perspective on life and mental health.
Everything checked the box for me.
