Wow, this is such an emotional read. Autumn is in love with Connor and Weston, and they are in love with Autumn. She loves Connor for who he is, but also for Weston's soul. Best friends in love with the same girl and Weston backs off because he cares about his best friend. He does it so Connor can have a chance at happiness and love since Connor's parents always saw him as a disappointment. The ending was crushing. I'm disappointed with choices made and I want to shake sense into these people! But omg is the writing and story amazing, but also made me think of the movie Pearl Harbor. I guess we will see in book 2!

This, I'm definitely positive, is one of the most beautiful writings I've ever read. I loved how I fell for each and every poetic words that were filled with so much emotions. I can feel the deep meanings embedded with every words. I can feel all kinds of emotions, every sting, every pound and every beat of the characters' hearts.
And Weston Turner? Oh, god! My heart is seriously throbbing so damn fast with each and every words he says. His thoughts, his feelings. I loved how he loves all of his people so deeply, how he always defined himself as selfish when he was totally the opposite of the word. I loved how every choice of his words can accurately hit everyone in the feels. I loved his letters. I loved his poems. I loved his pure and genuine love for Connor and for Autumn. I just loved that he feels too much.
So much beauty in a book. This one definitely created a spot in my heart.

Meine Meinung zu dem Buch ist sehr ähnlich zu der vom ersten Teil: super schöner Schreibstil, ich fand es richtig spannend, mochte die Erzählweise und Wendungen der Geschichte, ABER leider war es teilweise echt unrealistisch, toxisch und auch etwas übertrieben dargestellt meiner Meinung nach. Die Beziehungen der Protagonisten haben sich einfach sehr oft super schnell geändert. Trotzdem ein schönes & sehr emotionales Buch mit teilweise außergewöhnlichen Themen die ich bis jetzt eher selten in Büchern gelesen hatte, was mir sehr gefallen hat. Vor allem der Umgang mit Behinderungen war ganz gut dargestellt & mit in die Geschichte eingebunden.

This is a story that is not how you expect it to be. It is slow paced and really works on getting you to fall in love with the characters, and feel the longing and heartache they feel for each other.
Its not a particularly happy read for the most part, its not your typical boy meets girl story where you just KNOW they're going to fall out then make up and live happily ever after. It takes a while to get going and at some points I wondered if any of the characters would ever be happy, but it was all leading up to a truly explosive ending, that made me download #2 in SECONDS.
Overall the Beautiful Hearts duet is just that, beautiful. Its a story that needs to be read, to be felt and to be remembered. The words of the book, including all the beautiful poems (you'll see) just stole my breath, i sobbed through the pages and it was all worth it for a hopeless romantic like me.
I have only given this a 4 star because the second book was even better.

I'm enjoying this author. This is the first in the duet and the cliffhanger has me. Excited for book 2!
