A silly story about friends playing tricks on each other. This would be a fun one for storytime and there are others in this "series" of picture books!

Cute start. Love, love, love the illustrations! Lost on the ending.

Just a couple of friends playing jokes and scaring each other! Fun little encounters and interesting to look at despite it being so dark in color!

This is such a cute and visually adorable book done by the dynamic duo Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen. I know I say this each time they pair up, but they did it again! And will probably keep doing it! And by "it," I mean creating wonderful narratives and visually pleasing stories. This one definitely takes up a minimalist tone both in narrative and illustration, but it wants for nothing. I'd definitely read this to small children, or any child who really likes shapes.

I love this quirky and hilarious book. It has a special importance for me as it was a book my German friend and I stumbled across and read together when she was in England. I've loved it since.

Fun little book that makes for a great first introduction to shapes.

The plot was kind of boring. I loved this for the artwork. The design in here was so fun, and I would honestly hang some of these illustrations up.
