Saw that it was nominated for Goodread's best book of 2017 so I though I would give it a try. There wasn't really a plot to this book but then again it's a children's novel. Had beautiful artwork

This was a fun & playful story about Triangle pranking Square. I love how it ends with a question and I think young readers will love the humor. This is an easy read for young kids or a fun one parents would enjoy too as a quick bedtime book. The characters were so fun and personable, I may just have to read the whole series.

It was weird so of course I enjoyed this one. I always love Jon Klassen's artwork. The frenemies aspect as well as a weird look at shapes could make this an interesting story time read.

Everything about this--is what I want from a childrens book. The illustrations, the story, the prose. Just great stuff here. The line "They were shapes with no names" is a line that is more haunting than it needs to be and will probably stay with me for months.

Would be a good book for “size” or “shape” theme. Actually, I’m going to use it for STEAM Storytime and bring out the shape sorters afterward! 😊

I have no idea why this was on a list of diversity-related books, but it was kind of fun and I liked the illustrations. It felt like a first draft of a story that could have been much longer/better. Somehow it gives me Frog & Toad vibes (though Frog & Toad stories make a lot more sense than this book does).
