Fantastical, I loved reading about all the different creatures on the island.

This book was great! The aunts and the kids made me laugh, and I probably looked really stupid on the plane.

A loopy and improbable book that I enjoyed a great deal. Horrid parents, wonderful krakens, mermaids, selkies, aunts, and a variety of children are part of the story.

In another world I would be more sympathetic to Lambert.

This book was hilarious and sentimental at the same time. An enjoyable read for any age.

Loved it- it's geared toward the preteen set, but it just made me feel like I was 12. In the best way.
