I love Amanda Lovelace's books. They all have important, feminist messages. Her poems are so empowering and relatable. I believe every introverted person feels understood reading these pages. It's a little repetitive at times, but it's a great read. It's the kind of book I wish I could have read when I was younger. And also, I loved the illustrations showing how all women are beautiful.
I'd say it's one of her best books so far. Totally recommend it! :)

I absolutely loved the girl-power and sisterhood present throughout this book. Amanda Lovelace does an amazing job of expressing insecurity and simultaneously teaching her readers how to love themselves and stick up for one another. I especially loved the theme of being a queen with or without a king by your side.
Name: Shine Your Icy Crown
Author: Amanda Lovelace
Genre: Poetry, Love, Loss, Woman, Feminism
Rating: 3.5/5
Review:
If you have read any of Amanda Lovelace's poetry, you know what you are in for! Shine your Icy Crown is the sequel of Break Your Glass Slipper, second part of the poetry series You are Your own fairytale. This book is a perfect sequel of break your glass slippers, resonating the format of the first book.
Amanda Lovelace returns with her beautiful poetry, heartbreaking silences and amazing verse in her new book. The poetries are heart touching and mesmerizing, many of elements in this book are already familiar with her readers.
If you are a fan of her poetry, you may not be surprised by this book. This book is interesting, but it could not get through me like her earlier poetry collections did.

Amanda Lovelace does it again. This book was so quotable and beautiful. It’s about body positivity and self love and powerful women. Loved it!
There’s something about this new era of poetry that just makes me feel something. Amanda Lovelace has yet to release a collection that doesn’t connect with me and I look forward to reading more.
Hace años, amaba a Amanda Lovelace.

I love all of Amanda’s work and this one was as always beautiful. Although it did not make me feel like the other ones did, it almost never made me sentimental or really feel anything. Perhaps I was not in the right mood when I read it or it wasn’t as good. Anyway still love her work.
