Same verdict as the other two Lovelace books I’ve read: boring and bland, sorry. 
This one did however earn a two star rating simply because I liked the sisterly bond theme throughout the book; it made me sentimental about my sister... so for my sister this gets 2/5, not for the poetry.

I honestly have never been disappointed by Amanda Lovelace and this book of poetry is no different. I don’t know what it is but I will devour anything that is a modern, feminist kind of retelling of fairytales, I just love them so much.

I would give "Shine your Icy Crown" by Amanda Lovelace a 2 star review because 1; the poems are written beautifully but 2; I couldn't connect with any of them.
