I love Amanda Lovelace so much and this did not disappoint. Her poems speak to me on such a fundamental level. Honestly I think everyone should read this.

Great collection of poems. I've said this before, poetry can be tricky to connect to. I personally find, that I connect better to poetry while I'm experiencing it myself, and while I agree with most of the big sister says poems, this collection just wasn't quite it at this time for me. But they definitely could be something for someone else. Great poems though, a lot of on point messages.
Lovelace has always been good at giving readers these small, compelling little poems that say exactly what they need to hear, and this collection is no exception. I particularly enjoy the conceit - a fairy tale, an ice princess, a love between sisters, examining the patriarchy. If you've enjoyed Lovelace's other work, you'll enjoy this.
