I’m not sure where I should start. I didn’t hate it but I definitely did not love it. I felt like a lot was missing. Needed more spice. I found Alexis funny at times but overall she was annoying. Loved the men though! 🤭 I listened to this as an audiobook instead of physically reading it and I could notttttt, for the life of me, stand Nyx. Very annoying and yes I get that she is a snake and they hiss but oh my Lordy. And the choice of words to describe things were interesting enough for me to be like hmmm 🤔
My favorite quote though was:
“A man was speaking so I stopped listening”

I had seen a number of reels saying that the story for this wasn't that string but the banter and vibes was worth it. I am here for the vibes. However, I didn't feel anything from this and I think that was down to the poor audio production - again told this was a great audiobook. I think this would be better as a book, as the duel (not duet) narration made it a miss for me.

It’s giving Watt-pad…like, “I’m 14 and this is deep”. Alexis is basically just Bella from twilight but worse. Also, the darker themes of the book are used pretty fragrantly.
