3.5 I think the hype ruined this for me. I was expecting so much more. I really wanted to love this because of all the reviews everyone really hyped it up. I did enjoy but it’s not something I’d reread. I didn’t really get the motivation of Eli and some of the plot didn’t seem that interesting to me.

I have no words to describe how amazing this book is. V.E. Schwab transformed words into a captivating, addictive and incredible book. She was able to create such interesting and lovable and hateful characters and build one of the best stories I've read so far.

I was a bit skeptical after reading its synopsis, because I didn't want to be disappointed. I mean, two normal med students who transform themselves into extraordinary people with superpowers? It could be awesome or it could be quite meh. Thankfully, it was the first one. And I love queen Schwab for that.

I cannot say anything more to convince you to read this amazing book, because trust me, you want to read it. And cry afterwards. And beg for Vengeful to be publish tomorrow. Because that's what finishing Vicious makes you do. *cries in spanish*

A really fun twist on the superhero genre. Quite grim throughout, but made fun by a good variety of characters.
