I really loved this book. I was hooked with what I’ll call part one, then was confused with part two until I understood where and how the book was coming together. (I didn’t ready the synopsis)
I had a hard time with the multiple characters, and with the multiple storylines and the narrators being predominately Simon Vance, I was glad Rupert gave character storyline reminders to get me back into the story and not feel constantly lost.
With all that to say, I enjoyed the cheeky vibe of the plot, the world building and the practical tips. I felt very stratified with ending, albeit one complaint, which I can only talk about to those who have read it.
I can’t wait for Vol. 2…which needs to hurry up. Maybe it’s ready, but are waiting on scheduling with the audiobook.
