I’ve gotten to the point where I’m not interested in YA and I’m def not the target audience anymore.

I would’ve loved this when I was in the right demographic. I only read this because I needed a book that started with M and was on kindle unlimited. I am too old for YA.

Fantasy

This is the first book in a trilogy and ends on a cliffhanger. Ana and her brother Zachary accidentally go to a multiverse and encounter an evil witch. Shades of Wizard of Oz!

Magic, Mystery and the Multiverse combines many fantasy and sci-fi elements into a rich tapestry that works especially well in a multiverse setting--or I suppose I should say: settings (plural). The world-building is handled with a deft touch, woven into the narrative rather than bogging the story with lengthy descriptions.

The result is a swift paced adventure story, plane-hopping across three worlds, encountering denizens both benign and malevolent. My favorites were: the talking dog (that only the main character can understand), the Egor (a group of creatures in this case, with an entertaining individual example), and the villain (a ruthless character that you will love to hate).

Seat yourself in the P.U.P. (Parallel Universe Pod) and activate the Multiverse App--and don't forget to fasten your safety belt. It's going to be a bumpy ride!
