3.75. This book was MEMORABLE feminine rage but also giving “pick me”.
This is a HEAVY story, bordering horror, on the beauty of female rage. Every #metoo shared experience we’ve all faced gets its moment of justice within these bloody pages. No one is safe, but sins won’t be committed again once Kitty and her knives come out to play.
I’m traumatized in the best way and will be thinking about this book for a very long time.

Loved this book! Reading How To Kill Men and Get Away With It felt like watching the first season of “You” for the first time. It was intense, funny, shallow, and heartfelt all at once. I had sympathy for Kitty Collins, but also questioned her ethics (how could you not question the ethics of a serial killer)?
Was it a little gimmicky? Of course. I didn’t mind though.
Did I guess the twist ending far before it happened? Yes, but sometimes it’s satisfying to sus out the plot and be right about it. I wasn’t expecting exactly how it played out, so I was still pleasantly surprised.
I’d definitely read another Katy Brent novel!

Tämä on yhtä murhaamisella mässäilyä ja seksuaalisen hyväksikäytön kauhukuvia. 😨😨😨
"Miehiä vihaava vegaani sarjamurhaaja saarnaa minulle, että minun pitäisi hankkia apua. Olet aina ollut hillittömän huvittava, Kits. "

I really enjoyed this book, especially the ending with the personification of Kitty’s murders as a monster inside her. The monster awakening at the very end would have been a lot better if the monster was talked about and developed on in the beginning and throughout the book but it was still a powerful end anyway.
I also liked how Kitty didn’t get caught because usually in thriller books we read from the victims or an investigators perspective so they end up being caught but as we were reading through kitty’s perspective, it was a nice surprise that she wasn’t caught.
It was also a really good moral dilemma because Kitty murdered evil men because she was a victim of evil men so does that make the men the victim or Kitty? Can both be victims at the same time? Is kitty evil for murdering even though she murdered people who don’t deserve to live? (Apart from her mistake)
Overall, I really liked this book.
