🇬🇧  A simply fun (overall) and addictive book. This story is inspired by the #MeToo movement and asks the question: what if a woman started killing men who are sexual predators?
If you're expecting a realistic thriller, this is not the one the "and get away with it" part of the title is clearly ironic, because in no reality would this protagonist get away with all of it. But if you want something light and easy to read, it’s the perfect choice.

That said, it does deal with heavy topics like rape, attempted suicide, and domestic violence.
Kitty is a funny, dramatic narrator, and at the same time a great companion throughout the book. We know everything she thinks, the moment she thinks it, and she gives us plenty of context about her relationships. Still, she isn’t “likeable” and many readers will hate her. I personally liked her. She’s a different kind of character, and it fits, especially considering my views on influencers and people born into privilege.

The romance is light but works, even if it felt a bit forced. I liked getting to know Kitty, understanding who she was, how she understood herself, and the key moments in her life that ultimately led her to become a killer.

She’s an unreliable narrator, she lies for “fun”, but over time, you start to understand how she works, and she gradually reveals the truth. Still, I know many readers dislike this kind of narrator, so it’s worth noting.

I found it a bit odd how often Kitty being vegan was mentioned it didn’t add anything to the plot and was strangely overemphasised. Maybe it’s meant to be ironic, considering her family’s empire, but still felt unnecessary after a while.

I wasn’t a fan of the constant designer label drops either, but they did make sense within the context of the story.

The themes tackled are sometimes treated lightly and could have been explored in more depth. The author tries to address them as best as possible within the tone of the story, but it still ends up feeling somewhat superficial.

This book is such mediocre garbage. The characters are unlikable, all of them, and the twists only come at the last like 20 pages. I can't believe a sequel got made.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dark, funny, and unapologetically savage.

How to Kill Men and Get Away With It is part satire, part thriller, and completely unhinged.
Kitty, is a wealthy influencer turned vigilante serial killer and somehow, you find yourself rooting for her even when you know you shouldn't. Her voice is sharp, cynical, and full of wit, making her both a compelling narrator and a surprising feminist anti-hero.

Some parts are a bit far-fetched, but it’s a sharp, feminist revenge fantasy that’s wildly entertaining.

Perfect for fans of dark humor, feminist revenge tales, and morally grey women who don’t play by the rules.

Just a basic book, reads quickly and the pace was OK to keep things fresh. Some unnecessary scenes too. Just a quick fun read but forgettable.
