It was a fun & feel good read. No unnecessary drama. Sebastian was so sweet & lovable. Ava is strong & independent.
I want my own Sebastian!! I can't wait for Logan and Nadine's story!

Chauvinistic self-made billionaire and two-dimensional marketing consultant pretend workplace sexual harassment is romantic and that the very low bar of not being a gold digging tramp makes a woman "fucking perfect." I really didn't need to know more.

Ruim mas tudo o que eu precisava pra relaxar a mente então amei
Quite solid 3.5 stars.
VERY cute, the characters were wonderful. I could connect and relate to both of them and loved their personalities. If you're looking for a fairly predictable fast romance novel this is definitely it. I will be reading the rest of the series probably and will start following the author. She reminds me a lot of Julie James except she doesn't focus on FBI/U.S. Attorney romances.
The stars are lowered for the obvious romance novel tropes that did make me literally cringe at times but that's what you get when you read these.
I did, however, laugh out loud also fairly often so this was fun! When she said his hugs were more comforting than making lists and plans and eating ice cream I laughed! So precious and as an avid list maker, I can definitely relate.

Your Irresistible Love is the first book in the Bennett family series. It is Sebastian and Ava’s story. Sebastian is the Ceo of Bennett Enterprises where he has sacrificed and worked himself to the bone for his family to be the jewelry moguls, they have carved out for themselves. Ava is a marketing consultant brought in to help with the launch of a new jewelry collection. Neither are looking for love, and they sure aren’t looking for a complicated office relationship….
My thoughts:
This is the first book I have read by Layla Hagen. I was hoping to say I loved it because Sebastian has eight siblings, and that’s a lot of potential books...but I didn’t. It was ok. The writing style of the author was enjoyable. I just couldn’t relate to the characters...I love the alpha male!!...and even though Sebastian tried... it came off as controlling and not in a good/sexy way. Ava although she grew on me there were times I wanted to shake her...when I have to remind myself that shaking my tablet will not work like an magic eight ball or knock sense into the character...well something isn’t connecting. She was written as very needy and not the strong independent heroine I tend to enjoy. Some of the secondary characters were much more interesting. The chemistry felt off the mark it came across as forced and not genuine. They needed more banter and humor between them.
I know this all sounds bad, but it really was an ok read, and I'm sure lots of romance fans loved this book. I will try again with this author...like I mentioned there were characters in this book that intrigued me, and I look forward to reading their story!

Enjoyable.
Being the first book of this series. I am hooked by the notion that the rest will follow the journey of each of the nine siblings. Now it's to be patient for April for book 2.
