This is a sweet, sweet story. Ava goes to work as a consult for 4 months at a multi-million dollar jewellery company, and meets CEO Sebastian Bennett. Neither of them are looking for a relationship, however sparks fly from almost the get go and while they try to fight it, the attraction is just too strong. Get ready for some funny banter, plenty of sexy times and even some emotional moments. I adored the Bennett family, I can't wait to read/ listen to more of their antics.

3.5 stars. Predicable but enjoyable.

Too slow-paced, got bored, didn't catch my attention

Cute story. I love that it is based in SF .

*3.5*
This was a cute story. I didn’t find Sebastian to be all that alpha, he was stern but so loveable at the same time. I love a man who can admit that he wants to find love and not be ashamed of it. Ava was a likable character as well. She was smart and independent. What became annoying is how both Sebastian and Eva seemed to only run into jerks as a girlfriend/boyfriend. They would complain about every relationship they had the person either wanted Seb’s money or to use Ava. It just became annoying and sometimes not as believable. There are some cheesy moments, but it was cute and made me smile. It was predictable, but again it was a cute story. I am getting aggravated when the H or the h leaves with a note (that’s not clear) and would not contact the person they claim to love and jumps to conclusion that they moved on. So annoying and needs to stop. I would have wanted more from the epilogue, which annoyed me because it focused on the next character’s book.

This is the second book i read by layla hagen. The first book is from connor family. I remember i like it ok. Lukewarm.

Your irresistible love is the first book on bennet family series. I like this book less than the connor family.

Its dry. Really dry. Sebastian is a freak. He is a control freak. Not in a good way. And eva is a weak needy woman. Can not stand her.

And the book is too long. Too long with nothing interesting inside. Bland dry story.

Very good! 4.5

I love office romances! Ava and Sebastian were so cute together and I love how he worships her. Sometimes, I felt like their love story was a bit insta-lovey and his flirting would've been considered very agressive if she didn't feel the same way. However, I liked that they communicated as much as possible and the main conflict didn't make them break up for months due to miscommunication. A quick, fluffy read.

I have found a new author to gush over! It is official, I am obsessed with all things Layla Hagen. Which is strange because when I first started reading it there were definite feels of a more mushy smut romance than anything, which isn't bad, but I was prepared for the insta-love, what I wasn't prepared for was how much I liked it. It was a smooth, hot and steamy read and I couldn't put it down.

The biggest reason for my book boner admiration for Your Irresistible Love is that the trope is one of my favorites - a workplace romance. I know, I am the typical mindset when it comes to romance genres, I just love the premise. I like the tension, the dynamics that play off of the cast during a workplace setting, it is just fun, believable even in its most exaggerated form. Sebastian and Ava chemistry in this atmosphere is no different. Although it is definitely exaggerated situations, it is extremely insta-love scenario and it is damn good. Activate the beaver drool comrades it is hot in here.

Aside from the obvious reasons for my obsession, the main characters are definitely likable. Sebastian is deliciously sexy. His caveman personality is panty melting, knee weakening, mind spiraling entertaining. I honestly just love his overall presence and attitude as the story line progresses. Ava too is just a fun and intriguing female lead. She is driven, successful from her own terms and all around amazing character, she is a survivor that is for sure and I loved that about her. However this clashed with Sebastian's personality - both instantly realized there was a chemistry budding between them, yet it was Ava who was persistent on keeping distance while Sebastian was not backing down from a challenge.

This is what I enjoyed most about their chemistry. It was fast paced enough to not seem extremely awkward during their banter or romance growth, yet slow build enough to add to the suspense on who would push the boundaries first. The intimate scenes, not just the sex but their overall connection was steamy, melt off your seat goodness wrapped tight. When it came to their drama it was believable scenario and resolved quite like I have imagined; definitely left me satisfied with the twist.

Simply put I loved this novel and I cannot wait to indulge in the rest of the Bennett family romances. The only weird, semi-negative thing I will mention is that for me, when I read romance novels seeing the phrasing 'making love' just makes me chuckle. I am not someone who is fond of the term, I know crazy for how much I binge read insta-love and romance porn, but it isn't something identify as a female outside of reading. I feel it is also used so loosely, so I expect I will see it a lot in the series. This isn't bad and it isn't enough for me to take the rating down because this isn't anything against the author or the writing style; the romance is solid - it is saucy, fun, entertaining, deliciously drool worthy and beyond beautifully written.

I highly recommend giving this novel a shot, if you like it as much as me, I couldn't peer pressure you enough to splurge in getting the rest - hell I know I am. What can I say, I am a sucker for a caveman personality?
