This is similar to the first book in a way, and so I love them both. However, the first one has a more resolved ending and so the climax was a lot more intense whereas in the second book, it’s almost as if it ends during the buildup on a cliffhanger. I don’t mind this because I’m loving the series and all it means is that I have to read the next book.

Im so fully engrossed in this entire series. I’ve been in a reading slump for the past month and all of a sudden I’ve read two books in a week?!

Omg this book is so goddamn good. I am absolutely in love with Rhysand. He’s still so very sassy. Such a great guy.

it’s so sad about what happened with him and what Amaratha made him do. I fucking hate Tamlin, like he needs to die.

I’m in love with Armen and Mor. Azriel and Cassian have my entire heart.

  I swear if his wings are ruined I’m suing.

Reread the first book because a friend said this one was her favorite book. Not my favorite but I did enjoy it; loved the Hades and Persephone vibes.

A Court of Thorns and Roses delivers the well-worn, somewhat predictable beats and tropes we know and love in fun and exciting ways, hitting the right beat at every twist and turn. By contrast, A Court of Mist and Fury takes a sharp left away from what seems to be shaping up as an equally well-known plot in the early chapters.
