This book takes the characters and story in an interesting direction as compared to the first book.  I liked this one so much better!  Feyre grows so much, Rhysand is captivating, and we get to meet more characters.  The romance is actually interesting and doesn't fall flat.  The world also opens up more in this book.  I'm so glad I kept going with this series.

I LOVED THISSS. Yet again, I got super attached to the characters and the plot was very intricate. The first book seems elementary compared to all of the characters and the world building in this 550 page monster.

I feel like I stereotyped this series as a smut book tok bad series but that is generally not true. I will admit there are maybe 5 or 6 spicy scenes in this book that I don’t think you should read if you don’t like spice because some of them made me want to burn the book. However, there is so much story that made me extremely emotional. This is a romantasy that some lines will make you cringe (I think that it’s just Sarah J Mass’ writing)but overall it was a spectacular book.

I wrote a longer review, but I decided to just keep it at:

Sarah J Maas seems to have named a minor male character Eris, like the greek goddess of discord. Very middle-schooler-one-babyname.com vibes.

Ultimately enjoyable, better written than the first, but still running on romance novel logic™.

Sarah J. Maas takes readers on an exhilarating journey in this second book of ACOTR series, where the stakes are higher, the romance is steamier, and the twists are as unexpected as a faerie bargain. With richly developed characters and a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat, this book is a thrilling escape into a world of magic, danger, and heart-pounding romance. Maas's storytelling prowess shines brighter than ever in this spellbinding sequel that will leave you eagerly anticipating the next installment.

This was just wonderful. Rhysand was my favourite character from the first book and I just couldn’t love him more after this book. And Azriel — oh Azriel has my whole heart. It was a wild ride I’m so happy I took!
