Claudia Gabel at HarperCollins has acquired Yamile Saied Méndez's Shaking Up the House, about the two Latinx daughters of the outgoing American president who start a friendly prank war with the incoming president's daughters in a behind-the-scenes middle grade novel that looks at life in the White House from a kid's point of view. Publication is planned for winter 2021; Linda Camacho at Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency did the deal for world rights.
