I'm planning on going to a Queer Palestinian panel 4/29/2024, and figured this book on my to read list will be great to read next as preparation to sit down and listen to panel discussion.

How to use what we've learned in this book when having free Palestine discussions?
I've always felt frustrated when people bring up how "oh try being gay, or trans in Palestine. They'll kill you" as very ignorant, and is pink washing trying to shut down any conversations about Palestinian liberation as a "gotcha" comment. Hopefully this book will help prepare us for those kinds of comments brought up.
