About

Lately, I’ve been pulled toward stories that are a little more science-forward, a little more introspective. And with everything happening in the world today — the noise, the uncertainty, the distance — I wanted to build a space where we could slow down and read something that reminds us how deeply human connection matters, even in the farthest corners of the galaxy.

Whether you’re here for the scientific mysteries, the emotional weight, or just a reason to finally start this book — you’re welcome here. Let’s explore it together.

Additional Resources:
  • Enhance your reading experience with these curated materials:

Proposed End Date: This is a flexible date and can be extended if the group needs more time to finish. We’ll gauge progress together and adjust as needed. If this Readalong proves to be insightful and engaging for readers, this could potentially be the main Readalong for this book so make sure to check back often!

Looking ahead, I’ll be hosting Readalongs for other books, including novels by Stephen King, Brandon Sanderson, and other sci-fi and fantasy works. Each Readalong will follow a similar relaxed and welcoming structure.

Please check out the General Chat Room forum to have conversation about the book and ask any questions you may have!

Happy Reading!

Edit: While I may not be as active on this readalong (currently hosting a readalong for 11/22/63), please feel free to add your thoughts as you read the book! I’m going to keep this Readalong evergreen due to the amount of discussion, the people who have joined, as well as the movie that’ll be coming out in 2026!
If you have suggestions, questions or recommendations, reply to any of my comments so I get notified.

Thanks yall!

This is a relaxed, SPOILER-FREE space to talk about Project Hail Mary outside the structured chapter threads. Whether you're easing into the book or just want to share your general thoughts without giving anything away, this is the place to do it.
Feel free to:
  • Share early impressions or reading progress
  • Talk about the writing style, tone, or themes
  • Make light, non-spoiler predictions
  • Talk about how the book compares to other sci-fi you’ve read
  • Recommend sci-fi books you'd like to read next
  • Connect with others who are reading at a different pace
  • Offer feedback on how this readalong is going for you - your input will help shape future readalongs

Think of this as a quiet corner to pause and chat—no pressure, no spoilers, just thoughtful conversation as we read.
