Perhaps THE Definitive biography of Tubman. Larson serves as historical advisor for several Harriet Tubman related sites and her text was highly influential on those to come. Clears up several inaccuracies established by older biographies. It can be a little dense, as it is a scholarly biography, but well worth reading. If you want to read only one book, make it this one.
