Read a book with a main character that is related to a D&D class.  Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with D&D - some examples are below.
  1. Paladin/Cleric - a religious character
  2. Druid/Ranger - a character who works with animals, or a character who is outdoorsy or spends a significant amount of time outside
  3. Wizard/Sorcerer/Warlock - a magic user or magical character
  4. Fighter/Barbarian/Monk - a warrior or fighter character
  5. Bard - a character who is involved with music or the performing arts
  6. Rogue - character is a spy, thief, or other sneaky type 
  7. Artificer - character is an inventor, engineer, etc
